General situation for the British Isles:
Updated Wednesday 23rd July 2008
The high pressure over the British Isles is fading slowly to produce a weak ridge as a large complex low over the Greenland Iceland gap moves south. For surfers this is good because there should be rideable waves in the west for all the coming week even if they are rather small at the weekend. The weather will become more mixed but it should stay warm with southerly winds. Westerly coasts are much more likely to be affected by the poor weather circulating around the large low. The long range outlook is continuing in this rather mixed pattern but the detail is not predictable.
