Small conditions in light winds, to be honest very little surf about.

Headline:
Scattered thundery showers tonight and tomorrow; most places dry, warm.

This Evening and Tonight:
Many places will stay dry overnight with variable amounts of cloud. However, a few well-scattered showers will drift up from the south from time to time though, perhaps with a rumble of thunder.

Saturday:
Some hazy sunshine developing in most parts. A few further sharp, locally thundery showers developing in the east by afternoon. Still warm with light winds.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:
A good deal of dry, warm and bright weather, but also a few sharp showers developing, mainly inland in the afternoons.

Watergate Bay & Mawgan Porth some 4 miles north of Newquay. As Newquay becomes ever more crowded, these beaches are firm favourites with many surfers for their wide expanses of clean water, smooth sand, good parking facilities, excellent beach facilities, and more relaxed atmosphere. Mawgan Porth is one those beaches favoured by those in the know, and is to the north of Watergate.
