SAT 17th MAY 10.15am :UPDATE: 1ft - Still very small, but clean and just about rideble now with light cross offshore north easterly breezes; Check out low water and the afternoon push for a chance of an extra foot;

Staying cloudy with further showery rain this evening and overnight. Some further heavy downpours are still possible too, perhaps torrential in places. Rather misty with mainly light winds.

Saturday:
Another cloudy, wet day in general with more showery outbreaks of rain. Some heavy downpours are still possible too. Cool with light or moderate east or northeasterly winds.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:
Cloudy with rain initially on Sunday, but becoming dry during the day. Thereafter generally fine with sunny spells. Rather cool at first but temperatures then rising to around normal.

Saunton is a west-facing long sandy beach works at all states of the tide. It is a favourite for longboarders and beginners, but make no mistake - it can hold some beautiful long waves.
