Headline:
Cloudy with some rain, mostly clearing later.

Today:
Generally cloudy with some outbreaks of rain during the morning. Rain will clear westwards in the afternoon, leaving some sunny spells, but scattered, perhaps heavy, showers may develop. Very warm.

Tonight:
Any remaining showers dying away early in the evening, then mostly dry with some cloud at times and just a little light rain possible. Mild with light winds.

Saturday:
Cloudy in places with a little morning rain and isolated light afternoon showers, but dry for most with sunny spells. Remaining warm or very warm with light winds.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:
Dry days with sunny spells. Early low cloud or mist clearing, slowly about some coastal parts. Remaining warm or very warm with chiefly light winds, cooler in cloudy coastal parts.

Gwithian and Godrevy are located at the extreme NE of St. Ives Bay - a series of breaks from Godrevy at one end to the Island in St Ives at the other. A large expanse of sand at low tide, giving way to idyllic coves at high tide. This is reckoned to be one of the best surfing areas in England
