Cloudy with some rain overnight and on Friday, clearing later.

This Evening and Tonight:
Becoming cloudy throughout this evening, with outbreaks of rain, mainly in the west, perhaps with the odd heavier burst. Drier in the east. Mild with mainly light east or southeasterly winds.

Friday:
Generally cloudy with some outbreaks of rain during the morning. Rain will clear westwards in the afternoon, leaving some sunny spells, but scattered, perhaps heavy, showers may develop. Very warm.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:
Cloudy initially on Saturday, perhaps with some light rain in the west, gradually becoming brighter. Some showers possible on Sunday, fine on Monday. Very warm. Mostly light winds.

Newquay Bay the beaches of Towan, Great Western and Tolcarne are the close to the town centre and tend to be busy during the holiday season. The surf at the town beaches is smaller that at Fistral, with Towan Beach adjacent to the harbour being the most sheltered.
