Small conditions in light winds, to be honest very little surf about.

Weather Forecast:
Headline:
Scattered thundery showers tonight and tomorrow; most places dry, warm.

This Evening and Tonight:
Many places will stay dry overnight with variable amounts of cloud. However, a few well-scattered showers will drift up from the south from time to time though, perhaps with a rumble of thunder.

Saturday:
Some hazy sunshine developing in most parts. A few further sharp, locally thundery showers developing in the east by afternoon. Still warm with light winds.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:
A good deal of dry, warm and bright weather, but also a few sharp showers developing, mainly inland in the afternoons.

It does however provide a valuable indication of the swell size, direction and winds for the next 72 hours. The most reliable indication of actual conditions is an Eyeball Surf Report, as on most of our surf report pages.
 
Crantock Beach is the next beach south west from Fistral and is a wide expanse on soft sand with a tidal estuary - the River Gannel. As a result, there are lots of very strong currents and rips for the inexperienced. This is a longboarders spot when working, but can be a long walk.
