Dropping winds and swell for the weekend, not looking as good as it did at the start of the week.
Synoptic situation - Low (979mb) off Iceland moves away NE. High (1030mb) builds Bay of Biscay. Low (996mb) forms far Atlantic by start of next week. |

Not much on this week and the promising chart set up at the start of the week now not looking so good. High pressure to the south is bringing cold air down from the North, and with it gentle WNW winds and not loads of swell. It's a pretty stormy/choppy and cold out there today and this short period windswell will drop off over the next few days as the winds veer WNW, NW tomorrow and then light N on Saturday - 2-3ft of swell remaining - might be ok out of the wind, then small again on Sunday and wind set to back SW by Monday again - small and onshore.
