Cold east winds and small, clean waves all week.
Synoptic situation - High (1028mb) over Scandinavia moves away slowly east. Low (990mb) off Ireland moves away NE. New low (990mb) Newfoundland forms and moves east by the end of the week. |

So big change on the cards this week - it already came in last night. Cool east winds all the way from Siberia and a small clean wave on for most of the week. Was loads of fun late last night - about head high on the sets (not dark until 6.30) but stoked to get into my Finisterre Merino afterwards (Merino offers coming soon btw). Another cool, grey day here today with a clean 2ft in the easterly winds and definitely worth a paddle later on. Stronger east winds tomorrow and probably feeling much colder - clean 1-2ft max for North Coast. Same again for Wednesday and Thursday and then smaller again on Friday. May see a new pulse in for Saturday and the second half of the weekend, but check back Thursday for the latest.
