Surf forecast Monday 16th January 2012 @ 1000. Surf forecast window 16-19th January 2012

One more good day of swell and clean winds before we see a slip back to strong WNW winds for the end of the week.

Synoptic situation - High (1026mb) South North Sea moves away east. Low (970mb) mid north Atlantic moves NE, deepening as it does. High (1036mb) over S France moves east by end of forecast period.
Cracking weekend down these parts with banging swell and a cold east wind - everywhere firing and best swell for a while for sure. It's still there today - 3ft and clean in the sun - get in of you can as wind is set to veer S tomorrow as the swell drops, then SW on Wednesday as the low moves in, so slowing messing things up. Wednesday could be time for shelter then it looks like we've got strong WNW winds in from Thursday onwards, back to how it has been for a lot of the last few months, hopefully it won't stay around for too long. Check back Thursday for the latest.

BIG JANUARYS SALE now on, check the finisterre website for details

Low tides am 4am/4pm - moving to neaps
