Sorry for big gap since last forecast - been all over the place this last week, including melted hard drive etc - actually missed it less that i thought. Anyway hope you all made the most of the good run of swell and sun that we had a while back. Got to have been the best run of waves and sun for a very long time. Huge change now with fully back to winter - howling NNW gales and storm seas and showers lashing through. Sadly not looking like a great weekend ahead for waves, weather should settle as the high moves in, but looking small on the swell front. Just a dropping 2ft winndswell tomorrow as the wind goes NE, may be a bit of a wave around, but poor shape. Wind veers more northerly for the rest of the weekend, 1ft North Coast for Saturday and may see a slight pulse in for Sunday (1-2ft), but wind probably backing gentle WNW by the end of the day. Increasing west wind and windswell from Monday onwards - 2ft+ North Coast. So not flat, but nothing like it has been. We're running a pop up shop in Braunton (Youth Centre, Caen Street) on Friday and Saturday, so swing by if you're in the area - bargains to be had. It's also the opening of the British Surfing Museum next door so come and see the biggest collection fo British Surfing Memorabilia outside of Calafornia! Tides moving to spings. Low tides 11am/pm.
