Staying cold and northwesterly until the middle of next week then another big switch as pressure builds over the British Isles for next weekend

Lows originating over northern Canada are coming in from the north west around high pressure out in the Atlantic to the south local peaks of wind are around now and into the weekend and then again around the middle of next week. It looks like proper winter could return later this week!

High pressure is moving out into the North Atlantic and lows will gradually turn to come in from the north west bringing colder air again westerly swell will gradually fade during the first half of the week to be replaced by north westerly wind waves on Friday.
