Finisterre Surf Forecast 6th June 2013 @ 0800. Forecast window 6-11 June 2013.

Classic summer weekend, with high pressure fully in place with the possibility of a small, clean groundswell in for Sunday. Have a good one.

Synoptic situation – Low (993mb) far North Atlantic fills in situ. High (1024mb) builds over UK over the weekend. Weak low (1004mb) forms mid Atlantic over the weekend.
Finally a run of swell and sun! Hope you've managed to get in on some of the action over the last few days. Still a fun 2ft at the open beaches of the North Coast today, worth a splash for sure, pretty clean in the 15mph SE wind. Things set to drop off over the next few days, with high pressure fully in place over the UK, so should see more fine weather and glassy/offshore conditions. Friday looking small - 1/2ft for North Coast, again classic summer stuff. Saturday looking small, but may see a small, long distance, groundswell in for the second half of the weekend, could reach 2ft on Sunday. Find the right bank on the right stage of tide and could be great fun on a log (watch out for those sea breezes!). Also time for fishing and sea swimming. Into next week, we have a weak, mid Atlantic low sending in some smallish swell from Monday onwards, hoping the high pressure will still be around, so more glassy/offshore conditions. Have a good one - we'll be at St Merryn village hall this Saturday with some great bargains to be had, so swing by if you're around.

Low tide 12am/12pm, moving to springs.
