I first heard of inkydeep when a friend, Jennifer Christie, introduced them to me as one of her designs was used by them as part of a range of t-shirts. Based in Newquay, Inkydeep produces a range of organic tees for men and women. I've always admired their stylish designs, so was stoked when the guys sent me one to wear!
Inkydeep have got a strong set of values behind their brand, with the key one being related to ethical and environmental issues.

This is evident when my t-shirt arrived in the post. The mailing bag was printed to tell me that it was 100% biodegradable and also reusable. Then on opening I found my t-shirt was snug inside a recyclable brown craft bag instead of the standard plastic wrapper.

Another nice surprise was that included in the package was a car sticker, two printed luggage labels (Very handy for my impending trip to the USA) and a newsletter.

My t-shirt was the 'Classic', which is an organic tee in graphite with a small inkydeep white logo on the chest and a large one on the back.

Being organic (inkydeep's clothing is made in facilities licensed by the Soil Association) this means that the t-shirt feels super soft in your hands. But it's even better when you put it on. It may only seem like a small difference, but the fact it feels more comfy than a regular t-shirt and it's organic is great.

The t-shirt has been through a good few washes since I got it and has retained it's shape well, with no shrinkage or fading in colour. And the logos still look great with no degradation.

Inkydeep have a nice selection of designs in different colours for men and women, so I look forward to grabbing a few more for my wardrobe.

Andy from inkydeep provides regular surf reports for the Newquay area on Twitter, so make sure you follow them on there too.
