Sunny spells developing. Warm.
Today:
Low cloud and mist affect the Northern Isles at first with outbreaks of rain across Orkney. However these should clear through the morning and early afternoon to leave some sunny spells and it will feel warm again. Mainly light winds.
Tonight:
A few showers are expected to affect Orkney through the evening and overnight with low cloud, mist and fog patches returning to Shetland. Winds remain light.
Sunday:
A rather cloudy day with haar affecting both Orkney and Shetland at times, and while Shetland should be largely dry a few showers are possible across Orkney. Light winds.
Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:
Haar clearing through Monday to leave sunny spells and showers. A few showers on Tuesday and an occasionally strong northerly breeze but mainly dry Wednesday as winds ease.
