Surf Maroc, Morocco's leading Surf Travel Company are looking for a capable, enthusiastic, sociable person to host the surf aspect at L'Auberge, our Surf Camp right on the beach in Taghazout, Morocco. Required Skills/Attributes: We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and sociable person who is also a very organized, committed, reliable, composed, hard working team player and good at managing people. Surfing to a competent level is essential, as a main part of your job will be to interact and give information to clients of different surfing abilities everyday.
A good grasp of French is very useful, and a clean driving license is essential. The job will suit someone who has the desire to live in the colourful culture of Morocco, by the sea and surf everyday!
Job Spec: L'Auberge host will be responsible for & required to be proficient in the following: 1) Administration: Computer literacy as far as using google/excel spreadsheets and emails. Working in connection with our logistics team.
2) Responsibilities will include: Managing the day to day surfing plan, communicating with all clients before and after surfing aswell as on arrival. Communication with chefs/kitchen staff for daily catering requirements. Attention to detail is essential. Client Arrivals and Welcoming guests. Giving a welcome tour explaining: L'Auberge, the village/area, the daily routine, rental policy for wetsuits, boards & cars. Being available to all guests throughout their stay (arranging extra optional activities, answering questions..). L'Auberge host is in charge of making sure each guest has an amazing, well organised, smooth running holiday!
