Summary
La Hosteria de Latas is Errant Surf Holidays flagship surf lodge and surf school, located in the stunning region of Cantabria, Spain. We are recruiting a new manager who can drive the business to new levels, provide impeccable customer service and manage a small team on a day to day basis. We will provide you with accommodation on site in a double en-suite room within La Hosteria de Latas. Salary is to be negotiated based on experience.
Duties and responsibilities
* Report to directors weekly
* In consultation with the board of directors write and deliver a strategic development programme to create an impeccable accommodation option and holiday experience.
* To arrange and manage office and time management systems.
* Be the main point of contact for customers during their stay with us in Spain.
* Keep track of income and expenses - some accounting background is preferred.
* Deal with local suppliers - fluent written and spoken Spanish is essential.
* Help with day-to-day running, including airport transfers.
Essential requirements
* Background and proven experience in a similar management capacity
* Full, clean driving licence
* Basic understanding of accounting
* Good level of Spanish both written and spoken
* Hold a European passport
