Ideal for surf trips! We are reluctantly selling our Campervan It’s a Medium top, Long Wheel Based, WHITE FORD TRANSIT 2006 Van, with a bespoke professional conversion Converted November last year and has been lovingly looked after since The engine, mechanical aspects and body work are extremely neat and tidy, It has just sailed straight through its MOT so has a valid MOT until Aug 2013. Tax until January 2013 Timing Chain was done October 2011 Full Service History Old MOT certificates 2.5 litre Diesel engine 90 BHP 95000 miles HPI Clear Brand New Rear Tyres Very cheap to insure under campervan motor insurance (Currently using Adrian Flux) It’s been cleverly converted so there is a surfboard compartment accessed from the back doors, which means the boards are neatly stowed away and out of sight when you’re in the van. We’ve stored 5 short boards (2 with fins left in) and one 7ft foam board in there, so it’s a pretty decent size suitable for various equipment – windsurfers, fishing stuff etc. Alongside the surfboard storage there is another compartment accessed from the back doors -suitable for wetsuit storage! Inside the van there are 2 large lockable under bed storage draws, 2 'Cutlery style' draws under the work top, A large 'larder' cupboard above the work top, further cupboard space under the sink with sliding doors and large storage area above the front cab. There is a large seat chest, topped with a foam seat cushion with storage and access to the leisure battery inside. The space has been utilized really well, so there is plenty of storage -we went travelling for 6 months with 2 of us and a dog and had plenty of space for all our bits and pieces (we don’t travel light either!) and everything was easily accessible without having to haul stuff out each time you wanted anything. There is a real nice feel to the van and it feels very spacious for the space. The 100AH leisure battery is connected to the van battery via a heavy duty split cha |
